Background

My wife and I tend to be very simple people who have a Christian belief. We keep our faith in God first acknowledging that Jesus shed His blood for our sins knowing that we are nowhere near perfect, and we also treasure one of the greatest gifts that God has given to us which is our family. We have gone through many struggles in life similar to what many people face today from financial hardships that led to layoffs, eviction, foreclosure, vehicles repossessions, and have even struggled with food to the point where friends and family have provided groceries in times of need. Thank God that we had a strong family support that made it possible for us to continue without having to face homelessness. Hard to say, we've also been a statistic to the high percentage of divorce, and you can just imagine all the problems that go with it, but with prayer and seeking the Lord's help, we were able to reconcile our differences. Not many people remarry their same spouse, but we are a part of that small percentage and have been together ever since. We have seen the hand of God taking care of our needs, mending our family back together, and keeping our love for each other, our family and friends, and most importantly our faith in God which has led us to starting up this nonprofit to help others.

We've always had the tendency to help someone out whenever it was made possible. For the past couple of years, our extension of help for others has been reaching out to mothers who were in need of necessary baby essentials, providing food for some of the people we have seen sleeping at bus stops, sending donations to organizations who help feed and shelter the homeless, organizations that provide medical care for children, as well as several other donations to family members in different countries who are in need of food and medical supplies and to church. With all that being said, you never really know if your efforts would be welcomed or rejected. We've had the experience of both, but we always leave it up to God so that His love, mercy, and grace would shine upon their lives. This is one of the main reasons that God placed in our hearts to create Let Love Abide, Inc. to be an extension of the love that Jesus shared with us all.

Purpose

Let Love Abide, Inc. was established April of 2021 and is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization. All donations and contributions are tax deductible in accordance with IRS rules and regulations. Together with sharing God's word and spreading His love, we hope to do as much good as we possibly can to help individuals and families in need. We will try to gather as much support from our community, local organizations, businesses, and others who genuinely want to give something back in order to reach as many lives as we possibly can. We believe that God can use anyone to touch someone's life directly or indirectly. A simple gesture of kindness or support is an extension of how God can use others to bring some light into this world.

If you're ready to donate and give back, we want you to give with love keeping in mind that your contributions are going to the right place, and never forget that Jesus loves you. If you would like to donate and help ensure that people in our community receive the help they need, please click on the Donate tab at the top of the page for more information. We would like to thank anyone who is considering donating and appreciate all efforts to fund this organization. God bless you!

Glimpse

The world we live in can be challenging at times even for those who work and have some type of income or support. For those who have not thought about it, there are a lot of people who are constantly struggling to get by and put food on the table for their families. In this world, there are still people who cannot afford some of the basic necessities such as food, clothing, medicine, shelter, baby essentials, etc. You do not necessarily have to fit a specific description or profile to be going through a hard time in life. You could be doing good one day and the next thing you know something unexpected happens and now you are the one in need of assistance and that can be overwhelming, overbearing, and mentally challenging when you are not in control of your situation. Often times we have seen ourselves in that situation where there is nothing more that we can do due to limited resources or incapacitation which physically restricts our ability to move forward in life. We do believe that there will be times when we have to face challenges and go through tough situations in order to grow and to prepare us for the road that lies ahead. Instead of asking "why" all the time when bad things happen, why don't we seek the will of God and ask what the purpose of all this might be for our lives.

In the Bible, Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33 " But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." (NKJV). The bible context of what those things that will be added to you are referring to are some of the basic needs such as food and clothing. Jesus wants us to seek God's kingdom and righteousness, to put our trust in Him so that He can take care of those basic needs. It's hard when you don't have, but it becomes more difficult when you don't ask for the right kind of help starting with God. There are a lot of ways to receive certain help out there ranging from organizations, food banks, churches, government assistance, network of family and friends, and also through homeless shelters and nonprofits that are there to provide assistance when necessary.

We believe there are a lot of good people out in the world making a difference by sharing the love of God, spreading His word, and trying to reach out to all those who are in need.
